How to Apply

Undergraduate and Graduate Application

To make the process easy, be sure to have read our Application Deadlines. Also, be sure to follow the steps outlined below, and have the following information handy when filling out the application.

Applicants to the graduate Occupational Therapy program must apply using OTCAS at portal.otcas.org.

Applicants to the Physician Assistant program must apply using CASPA at portal.caspaonline.org.

    Make sure you have the admissions checklist handy.

    Don't have your checklist? There's a specific list for your student type, and even your program of choice. Find them here:

    Gather the information required in the first part of the application process.

    • Contact and Citizenship Information
    • Previous Academic Institutions
    • What you'd like to study at ADU.

    Application Payment

    • Before you can submit the application, you'll be required to pay the application fee using a debit or credit card.
    • The fee for undergraduate applicants (including Online and Post-Baccalaureate applicants) is $20. The fee for graduate applicants varies by program.

    Submit Application

    • Read the Personal Statement, check off "Yes, I agree," then click the "Submit Application" button.
    • Your application will not be complete until this last step is done.

Adventist University requires that all newly admitted students successfully complete a background check. The cost for undergraduate Main Campus, Online, and Denver students is $48. Graduate students accepted into a professional program will be required to complete a criminal background check, drug test, proof of immunizations, proof of medical insurance, and CPR certification (a program specific requirement) at a cost of $157. Students are required to cover these and any additional costs incurred as a result of this process.
