Florida Institute of Technology
Florida Tech is not changing its ACT and SAT policy for the 2021-2022 academic year. SAT or ACT scores are still required as application supporting documents for domestic freshman applicants. We will continue to super-score if multiple tests are taken and received. For further information, go to https://www.fit.edu/freshman-admissions/freshman-admission-requirements/
Florida Southern College
Florida Southern College offers test optional admission. The policy is outlined on the FSC website at: https://www.flsouthern.edu/undergraduate/admissions/apply/test-optional-policy.aspx.
Jacksonville University
Jacksonville University is a test optional school. This means that SAT and ACT scores are not required for admission to the university. However, the Honors Program, the 4+1 Program and the Freshman Direct-Entry Nursing Program, are select programs at JU that do require test scores. We will also consider self-reported test scores for JU programs where test scores are mandatory, such as the Honors Program, the 4+1 Program and the Freshman Direct-Entry Nursing Program.
The office of undergraduate admissions will only require and verify official SAT/ACT test scores for students that enroll at Jacksonville University and have selected to have their test scores considered in the evaluation of their application.
Keiser University Flagship Campus
Keiser University’s test policy remains the same. SAT or ACT is not required for admission.

Saint Leo University
Saint Leo University has developed a test-optional policy that does not require undergraduate applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores as part of the admissions process: https://www.saintleo.edu/test-optional-policy
Stetson University
Stetson has offered its applicants the option to apply test optional for admission for almost 10 years while still being considered for merit-based scholarships. We understand that there are more to our applicants beyond their test scores and that test scores not the only reflection of a student’s success at Stetson. Note: There may be special scholarships (beyond merit based scholarships) and programs, like the University Honors Program, that may potentially require test scores.
Southeastern University
With schools and counties administering ACT/SAT again this fall, we will be asking prospective students to submit test scores as part of their admission process to SEU. We are able to accept a student without a test score, however they may not be eligible for an academic scholarship from the university.
If tests are no longer administered due to an outbreak of COVID-19, similar to this past Spring, SEU will revert back to not requiring scores for admission and just using GPA for acceptance.
University of Miami
The University of Miami will pilot “test optional” admission for all students applying for Fall 2021. For further information go to https://admissions.miami.edu/undergraduate/application-process/admission-requirements/test-optional-admissions/index.html
